Femi and Mina Bajomo represented Nigeria at the SOZO Team Leaders Advance (STLA) in South Africa, held from 3pm on Friday the 19th of August to Sunday the 21st of August, 2016. Mina was commissioned as the Sub- Director of BETHEL SOZO, Nigeria, by Carina Boshoff, the BETHEL SOZO Director for Africa.
The focus of the SOZO Team Leaders Advance (STLA) was to equip and provide a forum to network with other BETHEL SOZO leaders in Africa. There was also the opportunity to receive ministry, be refreshed and discuss challenges, with other leaders.
The conference was held in the Garden Route at Carmel Christian Holiday and Conference centre in Victoria Bay, just outside George. The tranquil and stunning nature of the conference venue emphasised the Presence and Majesty of our Creator God.
The BETHEL SOZO Directors for Africa, Carina and Deon Boshoff organised the event and were the main Speakers. Their teaching was great and well received. At the meeting of the Sub- Directors in Africa, Mina presented a report on BETHEL SOZO in Nigeria. She described the progress that has been made in the 14 months since the Bethel Basic Training Workshop took place in Lagos, Nigeria led by Carina and Deon and during which the Nigeria team was inaugurated. She explained that the priority was on training the BETHEL SOZO team so we could have one or two First Chairs.
The STLA ended on Sunday the 21st of August with a church service. There was prayer, prophecy and encouragement for Femi and Mina as they serve to encourage the growth of BETHEL SOZO in Nigeria.
